Monitoring and Evaluation: Getting Outcomes

Registration is closed for this event
Working with outcomes, indicators, comparators and collection methods. Utilising Appreciative Inquiry, Results Based Accountability, and other frameworks or features of a good evaluation.

This interactive workshop will give you the big picture on evaluating small and medium-sized community and voluntary organisations, as well as specific tools you can use to put into action immediately. You will acquire the basic building blocks to give you the confidence to design and implement your own system of monitoring and evaluation, that fits with your organisation and the resources you have.

Topics/questions covered include – What is evaluation? How can I be ‘objective’? When do I use numbers vs. descriptions? What are the things evaluation cannot do for your organisation? What is a theory of change or a logic model? How can we use it in practice? How do we measure change?
