  • The key digital marketing tools to create greater awareness of your cause, recruit volunteers and attract donations.
  • Examples of how small not for profits have used different digital marketing  channels to further their mission (including social media, website and email marketing strategies)

This is an entry level session ideal for  Managers, Trustees and Fundraisers from grassroots and community based not for profit organisations who are looking to learn more about the Digital Marketing landscape, different options to consider and practical advice of how to get started.

Therese Bio

Therese has varied experience supporting community groups, social enterprises and values driven organisations with training, strategic advice and practical hands on help as an Independent Funding and Marketing Consultant. She supports organisations to further their mission’s through establishing robust planning frameworks, powerful storytelling and strategic funding support.

Therese’s experience in the sector as a funder (Vodafone Foundation, Lottery Community Auckland and Auckland Council), Grants Strategist, Senior Marketer and Sponsorship Manager (for ASB, Vodafone & Jucy), has given her invaluable knowledge of the funding landscape and options for NFPs. In a voluntary capacity, Therese enjoys coaching not-for-profit organisations with their crowdfunding endeavours through her work with The Funding Network. 

Annissa Bio

Anissa has a long and eventful history in the not-for-profit sector, both here in Aotearoa and internationally. She’s a writer, community builder and online comms specialist.

She was responsible for the digital marketing of a vintage clothing estate sale that made the 6 o’clock news with the queues that wound through Titirangi village. She shares what she knows through giving social media trainings to small not-for-profits, progressive business and community projects.

Words, the digital world, social change and deep ecology are at the centre of her life.
