Networks

ANCAD is a respected and trusted partner of central government, local government, local businesses and community sector organisations. We run the largest community database and network in Auckland North.
Within the mosaic of community development activity ANCAD connects, facilitates, inspires and drives community action designed to build community and improve quality of life.
While our core focus is working in communities of Auckland North, we also work regionally and nationally by working with central government, and various community networks including: Community Networks Aotearoa, HuiE! Community Aotearoa, Inspiring Communities, and the NZ Council of Christian Social Services, among others.
International Networks include: The Tamarack Institute (Canada). This year our CEO Yvonne Powley will be attending the World Community Development Conference in Ireland.
Local Community networks include: Takapuna Methodist Church, North Shore Women’s Centre, Age Concern, CAB North Shore, Anglican Trust for Women and Children (ATWC) and many of our 150 members.
Yvonne Powley is a Chartered member of the Institute of Directors.
ANCAD provides opportunity for networking as one of our core activities. We host a bimonthly Auckland Region Network meeting at the Mary Thomas Centre, 3 Gibbons Rd, Takapuna.
These and other events are regularly posted in our events listings and Facebook page.
