Digital Seniors is excited to be arriving on Auckland’s North Shore.
Do you have 2-3 hours a week and want to help the seniors in your community feel empowered and connected? Does this sound like you?
Following the success of Digital Seniors in the Wairarapa community during the last four years, Auckland Council have partnered with Digital Seniors to pilot digital drop-in Hubs throughout the community so we can provide one-on-onesupport to seniors on Auckland’s North Shore.
Digital Seniors understands that providing free digital coaching helps seniorspositively engage and prosper with digital technologies and services in today’s increasingly digitised world. To do this, we need a motivated team of volunteer coaches in our community toprovide digital coaching to seniors.
You do not need to be a tech expert, if you can use a smartphone, laptop or tablet we can support you with the rest. A second language would be awesome so we can reach more of our seniors in the community.
A big heart to help seniors, a great sense of humour and the ability to patiently listen are the qualities we are looking for.
