ANCAD is a Charitable, Incorporated Society and community development non-profit organisation that has been supporting the Auckland North community and beyond, since 1974.
ANCAD organises and coordinates several key programmes of support for the community to build capacity, capability and wellbeing. Our passion and purpose is to be a part of the process of strengthening community through engagement, enablement and education.
We strengthen relationships, partnerships and inclusivity with all sectors of the community. We build and strengthen our Kaupapa Māori partnerships and enhance our relationships with Pasifika and Asian communities.
We respond to emerging trends and current community needs and support capacity and capability initiatives and innovations for a connected, resilient and safe community.
We provide information, education and resources, contribute to research, innovative practice and strategic community development initiatives.
Like the weaver of fabric, we wish to see the fabric of community knitted together in a strong, interconnected way that builds upon the diversity and strengths of who we are and what we do.
